Background and Specialities

Three young girls sitting on a wooden coffee table in a living room, making funny faces and smiling.

I’m a middle child. As a middle child, I grew up observing others: their relationships, their habits, why they never finished their vegetables….

This habit of watching others grew into a raging curiosity about how to help others make the most of their lives. Lucky for me, this built into a decades-long career using psychology in corporate, clinical and teaching roles.

I see clients face-to-face in Ilminster, Somerset. And I see clients online wherever they are!

My specialist interests are:

Life Stages: Choosing to Create a Couple, Marriage, Separation, Becoming Parents, Becoming a Carer, Retirement

Bumps in the Road: Illness, Loss, Career Changes and Workplace Wellness, Burnout, Confidence and Self-esteem, Stress and Overwhelm

Embracing Neurodiversity: Depression, Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders

My approach is integrative. This means I mix my training in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, Rogerian and systemic thinking to create something just right for each client.

I’m a member of the British Psychological Society and strictly abide by their ethics and professional standards.

If you’ve read this far, thanks for sticking with it! I look forward to working with you.
